While this is website is named TechnicalTrainer.org, it is really intended to be a place for all Workplace Learning and Performance professionals. I can hear the question already, "So why did you call it TechnicalTrainer.org?" The politically-correct answer is that I have been involved for the last 11 years in technical training, specifically in software. My expertise is there, and it is where I am going to draw most of my examples.
But, I am currently working on my PhD in Education, Training and Performance Improvement. So, I intend to cover more than just the little pond of technical training. This brings me to the honest answer. The real reason it is called TechnicalTrainer.org is that while searching for an available domain name, it was the only really cool and available domain that my limited creativity could conjure.
