The Applications Technology Group within Oracle's E–Business Suite is the team responsible for the technologies between Oracle's core database and Oracle's Fusion Middleware products, and the functionality of the E–Business Suite product families, like Financials, Human Resources, Manufacturing, and others. The curriculum products we develop cover responsibilities for job titles similar to the following:
- E–Business Suite Developers
- E–Business Suite DBAs
- E–Business Suite System Administrators
- E–Business Suite Super Users
- E–Business Suite Functional Administrators
The curriculum that the team develops covers the following areas:
- Instructor-led curriculum (through Oracle University)
- Process documentation and support (through Oracle Tutor)
- Simulations-based training (through Oracle UPK)
- Internal training support to other lines of business through webcasts and other collaborate technologies (through Oracle Beehive)
- Internal release readiness support for new releases, like E–Business Suite R12.1.
- Internal training of E–Business Suite developers (Note: I was one of 3 trainers that delivered both Oracle Application Framework (Java Enterprise Edition) and Oracle Forms Development for E–Business Suite training to thousands of Oracle E–Business Suite developers.)
- Readiness training, like pilot courses, train-the-trainer, and first global teachs, to Oracle University instructors.
