While registering a custom application a custom database schema should be defined for use with the custom applications.  This database schema will own the tables, indexes, and other database objects used to process the source system's transactions.  Work with your database administrator to define a schema if one does not already exist.  The schema does not need to be unique for each custom application.  However, all FAH transaction object database objects and related packages should be defined and stored in a custom schema and then access should be granted to the APPS user and synonyms should be created so APPS can access the objects by name with row level security if required.
